Welcome to the intimate and charming town of Świdwin in Western Pomerania.
In close proximity to KaJo is a medieval castle. It is not only a historical place worth visiting, but also the cultural centre of the town. Apart from a library with a reading room, you can visit the castle chambers and admire the panorama of the city from the tower. The Świdwin Cultural Centre is based here and organises interesting events and cyclical events. Annual competitions, reviews, concerts, Świdwin Days or the famous “Battle of the Cow” are just some of the attractions to enjoy here.

Moreover, when enjoying the town, it is worth seeing the Stone Gate from the 14th century with its oak gates. Also, St. Mary’s Church from the 14th century, plagued by turbulent events throughout the history, now presents its beautiful face after many years of repairs and renovations.
Świdwin is known for its military airport, 5 km from the city centre is the 21. Tactical Air Base, with many people attending the Air Picnic every year.
For active visitors, we recommend a visit to the water park “Relaks”, a walk in the town park with the Bismarck tower, as well as hiking around the numerous lakes. The green areas surrounding Świdwin are perfect for cycling and the Rega River, which can be seen from the windows of our flats, is a great place for canoeing.
There are also many agritourism farms in the area, offering excellent and tasty products such as honey, cured meats, fish, sourdough bread, healthy organic preserves, and natural cold-pressed oils.
Tourists in need of a respite in the natural surroundings will be delighted by the nearby Drawskie Lake District – an amazing region filled with lakes, rivers, and attractions for sailors, anglers, and all those who love nature!
At a distance of about 25 km from Świdwin, Połczyn-Zdrój is well worth a visit – it is a town with spa qualities, located in picturesque areas, not without reason called “Połczyńska Switzerland”. A beautiful Zdrojowy Park with a mineral water pump room, a small graduation tower, a children’s playground, a fountain, and an amphitheatre, as well as many species of plants from all over the world, encourages visitors to go for a walk here.
Obviously, it would be impossible not to mention Kołobrzeg, which is located only 45 minutes from Świdwin. There is no need to write about the qualities of the Baltic Sea, but it is worth mentioning that the coastal climate and the frequent visits of seagulls are a sign that the distance from Świdwin to the sea is indeed close.
